Flu Eligibility Update for 2024-25
We will be commencing our flu vaccination clinics during October 2024. The NHS has directed all GP practices not to vaccinate for 'flu before October 3rd. The practice will be inviting those eligible for 'flu vaccinations to make an appointment in accordance with these timings.
Please note that the following patients will be eligible:
- those aged 65 years and over
- those aged 6 months to 65 years and in a 'clinical at risk group'
- all children aged two to three or turned four since 31st August 2024
- pregnant women
- those in long-stay residential care homes
- carers
Please note that those aged 50 to 64 years and not in a clinical risk group are not eligible for a flu vaccination this year.
